The 40 questions are divided into 2 sections with 20 questions per section. I'm sure it's useful for some people to read about exactly when they should begin braking or accelerating, but I can't say that I've actually learned much aside from metric equivalents to driving rules I learned in the US, especially considering I can't be bothered to memorize charts about exactly how long you can have your hansbook suspended for different infractions.

Pay attention to Chapters 2, 3, and 6 for specifics about what will be expected on the road test. No appointment is necessary but you should arrive at least 1 hour before the test centre closes in order to ensure that you have enough time to complete your test.

There are still some restrictions with this licence, such as no driving between midnight and 5 am, but at least you can drive alone with this licence. It allows you to practice your driving skills with a supervising licenced driver who has held a G licence for at least 4 years.
