Sorry this didn't help. I have windows 8 pro 64bit OS, it is not accepting the canon Selphy cp driver, how did you make yours work with win8 pro 64bit OS? It will print fine if your photo is in the sRGB color space, but any program that deals with other color spaces Lightroom, for instance , will not produce proper color. Sorry, but my CP still installed with the drivers from Windows update and still working well. You get to a point were you specify that it worked with windows 7 4.

Regarding colorsyou're right. JerryDonaldson Replied on February 7, I have the same question Follow the steps displayed by the setup wizard.
Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified. I was told to call back in one week. Once you reboot again the driver enforcement is reverted but the printer still works. Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. After installation, restart the computer.
Unfortunately, if you do serious photo work, it has some color management issues. First, disable driver signing enforcement: I would not run the disk, if it has installed software in Programs I would uninstall the software.
